Cameron & Paige

Paige fills a stocking December 26, 2008

Paige filled a Christmas stocking for me.  Jeff said she had gone around the house in the days leading to Christmas and filled it, but wouldn’t let him see.  As I pulled out each item, I was laughing SO hard I had tears running down my face.
I asked her how she knew to put these things in my stocking and she said “I saw Jack Skellington do it!!”  (Jack is from The Nightmare Before Christmas and he doesn’t understand Christmas but is trying..  If you haven’t seen the movie, you should!)

So.. I got..  A scrap of fabric, a lamp from her dollhouse, paper scraps, an ornament from the tree, a pencil, her brush and comb, a hair clip and.. My favorite item… A half eaten piece of chocolate.

Still snowy.

Paige can whistle and Cam is a comedian December 21, 2008

I’m a blogging failure.  I just can’t find the time to keep up.  I’m back in school – again.  Getting a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in marketing.  The MBA is all online, but the engineering degree requires two nights a week plus Saturdays.  I kind of like it, but it is exhausting.

Paige learned how to whistle recently.  I don’t know when, but she was sitting next to me and just started whistling!

Cam is silly :)   He is in first grade and doing well.  The teacher says his math skills are excellent and he’s thinking about things beyond a second grader’s level.

It’s been snowing a LOT!  We have a storm coming in tonight and already we have quite a bit of new snow.  I haven’t been able to drive for .. umm  about a week?  And it isn’t letting up.  It’s just completely iced over.  I broke down and tried to do all of my shopping online.  Thank goodness for Amazon.com!  I did decide to trek out to Costco today, but it wasn’t one of my smarter moves.  I left just as it was getting dark and thought I”d buy a sled to get my goods home, but Costco didn’t have any sleds and when I left, I had a heavy Blu-Ray player to carry home through the driving snow and wind.  (Had to say driving)  The snow is beautiful, though and we’ve been sledding.

Oh, did I mention Jeff sold the Mini?  Traded it for a 2008 white RX-8.  Looks great!!
